美國今日報（USA Today）報導，3D列印潛在商機龐大，除了企業開始利用這項技術來賺錢，民間愛好者也愈來愈多，因此3D列印被視為明日之星，有可能像80年代的微波爐成為日後家庭必需品。

    　網路發達與硬體成本持續下跌，讓3D列印在企業和個人愛好者之間普及起來。

    　研究機構Wohlers Associates指出這市場快速成長，尤其DIY市場蓬勃發展，去年相關產品與服務的全球銷售成長24％至13.3億美元；看好市場未來幾年將持續「強勁兩位數成長」，預估今年銷售達16億美元，2016年上看31億美元。

    　使用者以軟體設計好物件的立體樣式後，把檔案傳輸至3D列印機，再以機器匣裡粉狀或凝膠狀的塑膠、金屬或陶土等材料，一層層地往上堆疊列印來讓物件成形。工程師Jim Kor形容過程就像使用熱膠槍，把一條條熱膠堆砌成所要的形狀。

    　專家認為3D列印模件不完美和列印材料貴，但支持者看好它能隨時製造模件，省去不少工序並減少企業庫存壓力。

    　從波音飛機的空氣導管到牙齒矯正等醫療工具，都已採用3D列印技術。Wohlers專家Terry Wohlers說：「你有創作自由，幾乎能做任何事。」

    　3D列印愛好者Jeff Bare在2年前就為蘋果迷設計並打造iPad外殼，其首個以聚醯亞胺打造的外殼就賣出30美元。

    　網路上為沒設備的用戶提供3D列印服務公司Shapeways執行長Peter Weijmarshausen認為：「從事3D列印業務風險正下降至零。」

    　設計3D物件的軟體售價便宜和操作簡單，列印機售價從1,000美元到50萬美元都有，滿足個人到企業需求。雖然目前技術未能應付大量生產，列印材料也不便宜，尚未能威脅傳統製模產業，但市場仍看好3D列印的成長潛力。

Google 2012 情人節的首頁動畫

相信很多人都看過了今天Google 首頁的情人節動畫, 個人覺得這個動畫把Love詮釋得很貼切。希望有情人的, 能掌握到愛的真諦, 更用心去愛你的另一半; 沒情人的, 也能好好看一下, 感受一下愛的感覺。

Introduction

片頭當然要設計成讓你知道可以點閱的, 所以我們看到了男主角, 拿著一個大大的有情人節味的箭頭。

一開始當然要先Google一下, 情人節要買什麼花送人呢? 時鐘指著下午2點, 請注意這時只喝了一瓶飲料, 筆記本上還是空的。

男孩買了朵玫瑰花送給女孩。

跳繩中的女孩停了下來, 看了看玫瑰花, 不為所動, 繼續跳…

男孩失望地回家之後, 下午3點, 在Google上繼續找巧克力, 這時男孩的筆記本上玫瑰花己經被劃上不可行了, 飲料也喝到了第二瓶。

男孩拿著一盒巧克力去給女孩。

女孩一樣停下來。看了看, 不為所動。繼續跳她的繩...

到了下午7點, 飲料喝到了第三瓶, 筆記本上多了個表情符號, 桌上多了些吃完的金莎巧克力包裝紙(送不掉只好自己吃), 男孩仍企圖從Google上找到好的禮物來送女孩。

衣服?

沒用。

狗狗造型的汽球?

碰, 沒了。

填充玩具, 潛水頭罩(?!), 派...

收音機, 魔術帽, 心型汽球, 鴿子, 紙飛機(?!), 統統都沒有效。

男孩索性自己也帶了跳繩。

望了望很難搞的女孩後...

跟著女孩一起跳了起來...

這時女孩停了下來...

望了望跳繩中的男孩, 再看看自己手中的跳繩, 女孩終於找到志同道合的人了。

趕緊抱一下。

這時男孩臉紅了起來。

拿起男孩的跳繩, 兩人一起跳起繩了...吼, 戀愛...

這時畫面開始分格。

狗跟貓可以一起跳繩, 男生跟男生可以一起跳繩, 老的跟少的可以一起跳繩, 太空人可以跟外星人一起跳繩, 公主可以跟青蛙一起跳繩, 飲料可以跟巧克力餅一起跳繩。

這就是Google呈現給大家的情人節, 祝大家情人節快樂。


我覺得Google呈現的愛, 就是這麼簡單, 不是什麼物質的東西, 一起做愛做的事就好, 請別想歪 ^^
而那些還單身的, 也請好好想一下自己喜歡做什麼, 有沒有人跟你一樣喜歡同樣的事物。

What is an Unlimited Liability Company?

 
Unlimited Liability Companies (ULCs) incorporated in British Columbia are a new type of BC company governed by the Business Corporations Act.    The liability of shareholders for an Unlimited Liability Company differs from a regular BC limited company.  Within an ULC, "The shareholders of the company are jointly and severally liable to satisfy the debts and liabilities of the company to the extent provided by section 51.3 of the Business Corporations Act.
ULCs are used as tax planning tools by American companies.
Federal and provincial tax authorities treat ULCs just the same a limited companies.  For U.S. tax purposes, however, they are considered to be "transparent" and therefore U.S. investors can benefit from flow through provisions for losses, etc.  As a result, tax planners have been utilizing ULCs for many activities related to acquisitions, restructuring and divestitures of Canadian assets by U.S. investors.
The notice of articles for a ULC must contain a statutory description of shareholder liability.  (Refer to section 51.11 of the Business Corporations Act)  The notice of articles is the primary charter document for BC companies, and sets out fundamental "tombstone" information about the company.  The statement of shareholder liability is included in the notice of articles for ULCs so that the searching public is aware of the status of the company.
A ULC must identify itself as such in its name through the use of specific words (specifically, the words "Unlimited Liability Company" or the abbreviation ULC), and most not use any words that could lead the individuals to believe that it is a limited company.
This is intended to protect those individuals (shareholders and creditors) who may have dealings with a ULC by ensuring that they are aware of the nature of the entity.  An essential part of the ULC framework is the requirement for a ULC to clearly identify itself as such at all times and in all circumstances.

Your facebook account keep posting bad links unwillingly?

Recently some of my friends got trouble with their facebook accounts.
Their facebook account keep posting bad links which will infect other people via visiting the website and get the extensions or plug-ins. The url will like bit.ly or something.
For my curiosity I found one of them and try to simulate the way it infects my friends and found some solutions.
I'm not sure this will work all the time. But I wish this could help somebody to help themselves.
The dangerous website is xxx.(Sorry I have to hide it, similar post just deleted by facebook) It will popup a dialog and ask you to download a plug-in if you're using Firefox, a extension if you're using Chrome. As of IE you won't be affected by IE.


And follow this instruction to cure your Firefox or Chrome.


In Chrome >  Tools > Extensions > Remove "Google Chrome Extension" "You Tube Speed UP!"


In FireFox > Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > Disable "Firefox Extension Updates 1.0.0" "You Tube Speed UP!"
