Buying signal appeared after Bernanke's QE3 announcement

2330 one of the heavy weighted company of TAIEX (Taiwan Capitalization Weighted Stock Index) showed the buying signal after Bernanke's QE3 announcement.

I believed this will raise TAIEX for a while. Perhaps the end of Oct. 2012.

Remove noise while adjusting the volume controller

Have you ever encountered the loud noise when you try to adjust the volume of any speaker?
I met that a lot in my life!
That won't trouble me after today. ;)

I googled this issue from the website.
And the answer is very very simple and easy.

All you need is one Q-Tips and 1ml or less of alcohol.

1. Turn off the power, of course.
2. Use the Q-Tips and get a little alcohol on it
3. Drip the alcohol to the bottom part of the volume controller (the part connect to panel) 
4. Adjust the volume controller from the lowest part to the loudest part one or two times.
5. And guess what, the noise is gone!
6. If its still there maybe there is really some problem with your volume controller.

Introduce Microsoft Office Live Meeting

Today I participated one Microsoft event.

It requires the participants to download Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

After looking over the functions and some features, I decided to write this article to let the other similar products have a standard or idea to follow.

This is the screenshot after I logged in.

The feedback part. I think this one is brilliant and useful. Use different color to indicate different requirement.

But for now, I think microsoft only leverage the Need Help.

The Attendees, display the attendees as a virtual meeting room.

You can also view the other attendees's name in this function.

The Shared Notes. I think this is also a good idea to share some notes to the other attendees.

The Handouts. I think this part is good, too. But unfortunately, I was not able to see this part any more during the session.

Q&A, this one many products offered, too. But it is more like a real situation, you raise your hand, and ask questions.

The Meeting, a summarized information of this meeting, press Exit if you want to escape from the meeting .

 

Voice & Video, I can control the volume my self.

 

Conclusion

Technology really helps and changes our life a lot.

I personally would recommend any business leverage Microsoft solution for the remote meeting purpose.

As of the other similar products, please include at least all the functions Microsoft provided.

在此同時，建議您可以於WOLD 2010內選擇 檔案 > 選項 > 增益集 > 下面管理 >
選擇COM 增益集 > 執行 > Send to Bluetooth不勾 > 確定，以解決此問題。

The Windows 8 Consumer Preview Review

The Windows 8 Consumer Preview is released for a while.

I just installed it on my old Acer TM3274 which was previous installed Windows 7.

Today I'll introduce you some of noticable functions which I feel special.  

Start

The start now is a very Big one.  And for those with big icon and background color these are the new UI called Metro UI.

Not only display the icon but also show some information based on the apps.

As of the others, these are the traditional program which will go back to desktop and run on that screen. And you can arrange the icons the way you like, and it will automatically generate a gap to distinguish the groups.

Store

Just like the other apps store, I think there will be more and more apps on this store.

Xbox Live games

This should be able to connect to your xbox live account, but I think mine has some problem with it.

Just display an error code to me. And this is just a consumer preview, isn't it?

Maps

With full screen map, this is really convenient and you can see a lot of things. I think no need to have a high resolution screen or bigger panel after the Windows 8.

Internet Explorer

This is the Metro UI IE, the traditional IE still can be found on the desktop. Note that the URL is below instead on the top now.

Press the pin, and you'll see there is a Pin to Start option here.

After you pinned it, it will be displayed under Pinned.

Desktop

And the first thing I was very confusing is how do I switch my program? Alt+Tab is a good idea. But what about the touch tablet?  The answer is in the bottom right corner. Try to move your mouse (or finger I guess) to the bottom right. And you'll see the Search, Share, Start (This is the way you go back), Device and Setting.

Setting, More PC Settings

There was a picture password, which you can have 3 points in sequence as your password. I think this is very convenient for those who use the panel.

But after I switched to live messenger account, the option is no longer exist now.

Conclusion

According to these improvements, I think Microsoft finally done something right.

With Metro UI, and full screen apps, I think people will really attracted by  Windows 8.

Especially those who don't have any tablet yet and familiar with Windows.
